Le mythe en tant qu'embrayeur affectif Staging a myth within a movie consists mainly of a both concrete and symbolic transcoding. The initial code needs to be translated into a cinematic code in which the myth is not only put into words, but also hypostasized. It is embodied, gestured, spatialized, set to music. The present study aims to identify and decrypt the mechanisms at work in this mytho-cinematic creative process through the analysis of Neil Jordan's movie Ondine produced in 2009.
