<font size="3"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Abstract</span>: Germanists all over the world have been interested over the past two decades in<br>establishing a structure and nature of the degree program of German as a Foreign Language. There<br>have been numerous scientists to claim many differences between a traditional Germanistik-study<br>program, the desired job profiles, but mainly for the main areas of this degree program.There has<br>been a gradually development in terms of specialized teaching aims for the main two GFL study<br>orientations. Specialists divide Germanistics into inland study courses and foreign study courses,<br>therefore it is just to divide GFL-studies according to the same pattern. Several universities in<br>German speaking countries offer German as a Foreign Language as undergraduate courses, Masters,<br>Distance Learning or further learning degrees. But these differ a great deal in terms of the subjects<br>even though most of them carry the same title. Furthermore they differ from GFL-degree programs<br>abroad.
